Verb Derby – LMNO (Remix)

Some projects stay with you long after you’ve moved on from them.

This remix of “Verb Derby” by LMNO was originally one of the first remixes I created when I began producing. At the time, I was still learning the craft, digging through records, experimenting with samples, and discovering the process of making music. Like many early projects, it captured a moment in time and eventually found its way into the archives.

Over the years, I mentioned to a few close friends that I wanted to revisit one of my earliest productions. Not to erase what came before, but to rebuild it with the experience, perspective, and skills gained through years of making music.

The process started the same way many of my productions begin: searching for records, samples, chasing textures, and looking for sounds with stories hidden inside the grooves. The result is a remix rooted in a unconventional approach while reflecting the evolution of my sound over time.

This track is both a return to where the journey began and a reminder that some ideas are worth revisiting. Independent artistry, lyricism, and underground culture continue to shape everything I create, and this remix stands as a bridge between the producer I was and the producer I am today.
